Stonework for Cannon

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Kevin McHale, owner of McHale Landscape Design for donating the labor and materials to build a stone pad for the cannon to sit on at the rear of the clubhouse. The new ownership wanted to relocate the cannon so that members and guests could take photos with the cannon and have the golf course in the backdrop. The golf course maintenance staff excavated the site in preparation to mulch the area that the cannon would sit on and within a day, I received a call from Kevin with his idea of building a stone pad to sit the cannon on.
His guys did an amazing job with the project and it is nothing short of first class!!

Below are a few pictures of the process:

What a great improvement!!. Thank you so much Kevin and all the staff that worked on this project!!

The next time your at the club, feel free to use the cannon as a photo opportunity with your guests to remember your special day at The Cannon Club.

I hope you have a great day and I hope to see you at the club,

Marlin Ewing
Golf Course Superintendent
